FAYDF maintains close relationships with the region's teachers and schools. Schools have an opportunity to bring their students to Sunshine Ballpark for athletic activities or to utilize the Undersea Exploration facility in Sunshine Ballpark's education building for field education projects.

Sunshine Ballpark's programs and facilities are maintained and operated by the Fredericksburg Area Youth Development Foundation (FAYDF) with private donations from the community. You can help us continue our vital work by organizing a fundraiser, soliciting corporate and individual donations and/or making your own contribution.

Volunteers are critical to the success of our programs and special events. Join us for a rewarding experience coaching and mentoring children, leading Quickball and other athletic activities, assisting in the undersea exploration facility, and many other opportunities to make a difference in children's lives.
